- Holistic Massage -

The massage is a technique that uses mainly hands on the soft tissues of the body to relax, stimulate or rehabilitate the whole or part of the body. The word massage originates from several languages. In Latin, 'massa' means 'that which forms a lump'. In Greek, 'massein' means 'to knead'. In French, 'masser' means 'to rub'. The history of massage is as ancient as the history of humanity. Holistic massage is a full body treatment that uses the classical Swedish massage movements. It aims to tone the muscles, improve blood circulation and stimulate the immune system. The treatment can achieve relaxation or revitalisation.

- Indian Head Massage -

Indian Head Massage is based on a traditional Indian medicine, ayurvedic system which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. The word 'Ayurvedic' comes from Sanskrit meaning 'sience of life'. Indian families used the massage for relaxation and healing on a daily basis to present days, as well as playing a part in rituals such as weddings and births. Indian Head massage not only works on the scalp but also on the face, shoulders, upper back and arms. These are the areas where the most tension occurs with the modern day life. Indian Head massage commonly uses oils which helps to improve the condition of hair and skin. The treatment also aims to tone the muscles, improve blood circulation and stimulate the immune system.

- Ear Candling Therapy -

Ear Candling Therapy, often known as Hopi Ear Candle or thermal-auricular therapy, is an alternative practice that helps to remove irritation in ears, sinuses and tinnitus (It is claimed that it removes ear wax but I am not convinced with this claim!). It also has relaxing and calming effect in cases of stress, improving general health and well-being. This natural therapy has been passed down to us from many Ancient Cultures, from Asia, Egypt, Greece to Native American Indians, dating from 2500BC. It is possible that the candle was used to form part of the initiation process. The candles are made from the natural ingredients of beeswax, honey extracts, sage, St Johns Wort, chamomile, beta-carotene and organically grown flax. It works in a chimney principle, drawing any impurities to the surface by lighting one end of a hollow candle and placing the other end in the ear canal. Treatment time varies on how fast candle burns which depends on the condition of ear. Treatment followed by mini facial massage. It usually takes 45 mins to 1 hour.
